We’ve got an opening to join our award-winning team as an engineer serving customers in the commercial sector with all of their fire, security and electrical needs. 

Perhaps you’re well-versed in fire safety and fire equipment maintenance, such as fire alarms, or maybe you have knowledge of CCTV or intruder alarm systems? Whatever your current skill set, you will be nurtured with the help of our dedicated in-house training led by our Technical Director and you’ll have access to certified courses from the Fire Industry Association (FIA) to build on your own personal expertise.

Full-time: Mon-Fri, 08:00-17:00

Salary will be dependent on experience

Permanent role, available for an immediate start

Field-based across Essex, London & Home Counties


Reporting to your Operations Manager and Service Desk to manage your daily jobs, from emergency call-outs for repairs and periodical maintenance visits to installation projects

Advising any remedial works to help your Service Desk team provide quotations, order correct parts and propose a suitable plan of action for customers

Learning from and working with your Technical Director and Project Manager to develop your skill set working on fire, security and CCTV systems, and coordinate on major projects

Building relationships with customers when on-site with them and fixing their problems

Previous experience in engineering within the fire and/or security sector or similar

As driving is a key part of this job, a valid and clean UK driving licence is essential


Experience working face-to-face with customers would be advantageous. We pride ourselves on offering a personable approach when on-site carrying out repairs, installations and maintenance visits, so relationship building will be a great skill to both apply and develop here

Comfortable handling phone calls, as you'll sometimes be required to offer technical support remotely to customers

Used to working in a team environment where communication is crucial
