ABOUT THE ROLE:

Full-time: Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00

Salary will be dependent on experience

Permanent role, available for an immediate start

Field-based role requiring travel around Essex, London & surrounding counties

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Reporting to your Head of Electrical to carry out your daily jobs for customers, from Fixed Wire Testing and lighting installations to rewiring projects and fault-finding call-out visits

Learning from and working with your Technical Director to develop your skill set working on fire, security and CCTV systems, and coordinate on major projects

Building relationships with customers when on-site with them and fixing their problems

Relaying any remedial work that's needed by communicating with our Service Desk to help us provide quotations, order correct parts and propose a suitable plan of action for our customers

ESSENTIALS WE'RE LOOKING FOR

A positive and proactive attitude is right at the top of our list! At WFP, we're all about developing our people and it all starts with a go-getting attitude and enthusiasm for what you do and what you aim to achieve.

We're looking for someone who has experience as an electrician (or in the fire and security industry) so you'll need to demonstrate your technical prowess either with an electrical qualification or the aspiration to achieve one.

As driving is a key part of this job, a valid and clean UK driving licence is essential.

DESIRABLE SKILLS YOU'LL HAVE

Experience working face-to-face with customers would be advantageous. We pride ourselves on offering a personable approach when on-site carrying out repairs, testing, installations and maintenance visits, so relationship building will be a great skill to both apply and develop here. 

Comfortable handling phone calls, as you'll sometimes be required to offer technical support remotely to customers.

Used to working in a team environment where communication is crucial.
