If you’ve got a problem with your car you’ve got two choices…

– ignore the problem
– fix the problem.

If the problem is your rear wiper blade, there’s no panic – it’ll wait.

But if it’s the brakes that aren’t working, you’d take immediate action.

Both need to be sorted, but one is more critical than the other, so you’d naturally prioritise.

Fire alarms are less like wiper blades, more like brakes. When you need it, you need it to work.

Just like you wouldn’t drive your car with broken brakes, you shouldn’t be in your building if the fire alarm might be faulty.

There IS a simple fix though:

Get your contractor to fix the faults – that’s what they’re there for.

If you’re sitting on the fence about what to do, when to do it and whether or not it needs to be done, just ask.
