1. Accreditation
WFP holds accreditation with the BSI (British Standards Institute), the technical term for this is BAFE (British Approvals for Fire Equipment), however the gist of it is that someone comes to inspect us on a regular basis and inspects our quality and adherence to the standards, which we welcome. We also hold BSI Kite Mark which we are proud of and feel that this underlines our ability to do the job in a safe and professional manner.
2. Insurance
Surprisingly not many people ask for copies of our insurance, however we believe that this is backbone of our business and therefore have the confirmation of insurance letter on the front page of our website, follow this link to check it for yourself.
3. Technical Support
Our technical support is different to others, we look to work with our customers to help them solve the basic problems themselves, to explain this further consider this scenario;
You carry out a test on your fire alarm and for some reason you can’t reset it, you call us and explain the issue, we will then do our utmost to talk you through solving the problem yourself, it could be as simple as testing the same call point again and this will then reset properly. If we can’t help you sort out the problem we would then be able to send out an engineer.
Our experience shows that over the period of a year by working with you to solve basic problems this can save a considerable amount of money that you would have paid out for site attendance. As you can imagine this is different on every site but its a small part of our ethos of working with our customers.
To underline this commitment to supporting our customers, our engineers regularly train our customers on the use of their alarm systems which can itself save money in unnecessary call outs.
