Water Leak Detection

Water Leak Detection

What happens if the plumbing above your building’s network equipment suddenly springs a leak? The amount of disruption that could be caused to your business is staggering, particularly if the leak goes unnoticed for any length of time.

Consider installing a system that can find a leak at its source when it occurs, and even pinpoint the exact location. Placed in the sub floor of a computer room, for instance, the system protects your equipment by detecting a leak early.

The single zone alarm panel is designed for use with all Tracetek sensing cables, probes and other sensing devices, providing both visual and audible indication when a leak or cable fault has occurred. The panel has relay contacts to connect to other extenal alarm equipment.

Once installed in these vulnerable areas, the system will constantly monitor the area, alerting of any potential hazards with an audible and visual alarm to the control panel, the message identifying the nature of the emergency.

The detection cable can be installed in any length from a few metres in a drip tray to hundreds of metres around the perimeter of an office area.

For hidden or unmonitored areas, the Tracetek cabling by Raychem not only provides early detection, but also a digital readout of the distance to the leak, so you can keep your equipment up and running.

There’s a system to meet your needs, whether you’re looking for a simple detection system or a complex, multi-branched locating system.
