Health and Safety
WFP take the health and safety of its workforce very seriously. Our engineers are equipped with all recommended safety aids and equipment, to ensure that possible risks from any type of hazard they might encounter as they carry out their tasks can be minimised.
We make sure that they are trained in all aspects of health and safety, and that these safety measures are adopted on a day to day basis, to ensure that when they visit a site to carry out maintenance, their work is carried out with minimum risk, either to themselves or to others.
Safecontractor, CHAS and Constructionline, require rigorous safety procedures to be adhered to, and annual checks are carried out to ensure that we comply in such areas as asbestos awareness and working at heights, to mention just two This demonstrates our company’s ability to put into practice effective measures which reduce the health and safety risks.
This means that any company who chooses to do business with us can be sure that our company is compliant with important parts of health and safety law. We are required to keep these procedures up to the required standard at all times, and undertake regular assessments to that end.
We are also members of Working Well Together, a construction industry organisation which aims to improve construction health and safety. Although this is not strictly our area, we are keen to be a part of any organisation which seeks to further the health and safety of workers.
