New Member of the team
Chris Andrews is joining the business to take up a new position of Technical Services Manager (Projects), he will be working alongside Barry Leeds who is our Technical Services Manager (Service & Maintenance). Chris has previously worked various companies including ADT in the installation and project management departments.
Chris brings with him over 20 years experience in the Security Industry where he has worked from apprentice to installation engineer and through to a NACOSS approved security systems design engineer, recently he has been working with us on a contract basis and managed the Tooting Library and Throgmorton Avenue projects.
Magic Pens
WFP has signed a deal with a leading digital pen system supplied by an award winning company called Destiny PLC. We will be beta testing the new system over the next two months with a view to rolling the scheme out to our field based staff.
What it is?
The engineer completes our normal approved paperwork onsite using the magic pen, as normal the customer retains a hard copy for their records and the pen stores a digital copy of the sheet which is transferred by bluetooth to the mobile phone which is then emailed to the office for processing.
What does this mean to the customer?
The client on site will have the hard copy sheet for the statutory safety records.
There will then be a digital copy of the sheet which could be emailed to WFP’s clients within minutes as opposed to waiting for the hard copies to be received at the office prior to scanning and emailing.
