This role is for you if you are a willing and able, experienced Fire & Security engineer, who is a good leader and has a desire to achieve an exceptional service from their team of engineers.

If you have an understanding of fire systems, are a hard worker and have a desire to constantly learn more, then this role might be right for you. Great Customer Service is essential.

If you have an understanding of security systems, will not shy away from a challenge and are open to continuous learning, then this role might be right for you.

Our customers remember us for offering a different service to any others in the industry. They rely on us to make sure that the right system is selected to solve their problems, typically these are:

Helping to extend the fire alarm system in their site, making sure the correct components are selected and put to good use.

Training their engineers and staff onsite on the installation of systems

Being their trusted specialist installer of Fire & Security systems

Helping our customers engineers onsite with training and guidance

Customer Service

In the eyes of the majority of our customers, the only real difference between between us and others is customer service.  Appearance, attitude and respect for our customer’s time and property are all judgments that are made by the customer, generally the second we walk through the door.

Customers have a choice, its essential to ‘wow’ our customers at every point, from answering the initial telephone call, the sales process, through to delivering the service and by ‘actively’ listening to our customer to deliver ongoing value and further services to support and ideally exceed our customers’ expectations of the relationship.

Its important that the customer receives added value by choosing WFP, this includes helping customers to make the most of their systems; including advising them how to spend their budgets wisely on upgrades and repairs and to remain compliant with law, keeping them abreast of any changes in the law or technology that could benefit their long term objectives; either by saving them money or giving more benefits for the same or less expenditure.

Where do we work?

WFP is based in Essex and we work in London and all of the surrounding counties, most of our work is in the centre of London and out towards East Anglia.

What do WFP do?

Solving Problems

We solve problems, our customers often have statutory needs to fulfil, however it is when we solve problems for customers that we are at our most valuable, our team are technically able and we have a belief that there is always a solution to any problem. Its important to note that we don’t look to spend our customer’s money, we do our best to advise our customers how to solve problems and sometimes it can be a simple as moving a camera angle, or detector location by less than a metre.

On what?

We maintain and install fire and security systems including;

Fire alarms, Intruder alarms, CCTV, Access control & Door Entry, Emergency Voice Communications (EVC) [fire telephones and disabled refuge] & Monitoring [Redcare & Dualcom]

We also offer; Sprinkler, Dry Riser, Fire Extinguisher maintenance through our chosen partners and we are transparent about this with our customers.

Who are our customers?

The majority are commercial and traditionally used us for fire alarm maintenance, small works and installation, although customers told us that they want one number to call for maintenance of fire and security systems and over the last three years we have invested in building our capability to provide just this.

  • Facilities Management Companies with office buildings mainly situated in and around London
  • Commercial enterprises in and around Essex
  • Hotels around London, Essex and surrounding areas
