New Vacancy – Sales, Projects and Marketing administrator – Feb 2012. FILLED MAR 2012
We are looking for another member of the team.
We need a strong administrator to join the team to work in the Sales & Projects department, the position is office based and our marketing office (unit 17) on our main site.
Projects
• Entering details to our “Clik” data base system prior and following sales enquiries.
Clik Management Software
• Assisting the project manager to run the projects specifically in the collation and production of vital documentation for the installation and through to handover
Sales
• Working with the sales team to produce copies of quotations within tight deadlines
- Helping to manage the sales quotations and generally working as part of close knit team to keep on top of our responses to customer enquiries
• General Filling, photocopying, printing
Marketing
- Maintenance of the multimedia feeds including some work on our website maintaining the download section of the website.
The Candidate
Must be a reliable, good time keeper and have the ability to multitask but with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The job involves communication with our customers and field based engineers and therefore requires excellent written and spoken English

The role would include all aspects of the administration of the business, the key qualities we look for are

- Excellent English skills both written and verbal
- Ideally a practical and technically bias person
- Want to work as part of a close team of professionals
The job role includes;
- Answering the telephone

- Dealing with external staff
- Administration of projects works

40 hours per week
Salary in the region of £14-16K depending upon the candidate

Sales Surveyor (Trainee) – Jan 2012
We have a new role in the business as a trainee sales surveyor;
Initially working closely with the sales manager on site visits and in the office preparing quotations, the successful applicant will learn to produce drawings which meet the British standards inline with our internal quality management systems.
Once trained you will be reviewed and given a target for new maintenance sales and move on to system design sales if appropriate.
Reporting to the sales manager you will be responsible for the following duties:
• Entering details to our “Clik” database system prior and following sales site visits.
• Contacting clients to arrange appointments and following up quotations
• Producing quotations and marketing communication letters to our clients
• Preparing CAD and hand sketched system designs for quotations.
The Candidate
Must be a confident but respectful, reliable, good time keeper and have the ability to multitask but with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The job involves constant communication with our customers and therefore requires excellent written and spoken English

- Surveying sites in London and the surrounding counties

- Preparing sales quotations for customers and winning orders
Flexible hours (Approximately 40)
Access to your own vehicle is essential, any business mileage will be re-imbirsed at industry rates and after the successful training period a company vehicle will be offered.
A suitable mobile phone and laptop computer will be provided with company credit card for company expenses including train tickets and parking etc.
Initial salary in the region of £15-17K (OTE £tba) depending upon the candidate, this will be reviewed upon successfully completing the training period and then a target based incentive scheme will be introduced.

New Vacancy for June 2011- Service & Commissioning Engineer – Filled Jul 2011
WFP are looking for a Service & Commissioning fire and security alarm engineer, preferably with an electrical background. We require a competent, smartly presented person who is used to dealing with customers.
We would be interested in working with an electrician looking to develop skills and become an alarm engineer.
Salary would be in the region of £21k-£26k plus overtime, depending on experience. There would be a probationary period to allow to skills and capability assessment. In addition to the wage we operate a performance bonus and standby call out allowance.
Experience would be helpful in the following for the successful applicant:
- Fire; BS5839 Part 1 : 2002 ; Design, Maintenance, Installation, Commissioning
- Security Experience; Door Entry, Intruder, Access Control
- Experience of the following manufacturers:
- EMS Radio Fire & Security Systems, Morley-IAS, Haes Systems, Apollo, Advanced Electronics, Rafiki Sita
& Twin flex, Ziton, Ampac, Gent, Airsense, VESDA, The Fire Beam, Fire ray, Paxton, Galaxy and BPT. - Experience of replacing old conventional fire systems with Analogue addressable systems
- Experience of EMS Radio Integrity testing and commissioning
- Health and Safety; Risk Assessment and general site practices.
This is not an essential or exhaustive list; however the position requires at least five years electrical or electronic experience. We will provide training to support the successful candidate, to fill any knowledge gaps and to further develop base skills.

Sales and Marketing Administration Assistant – 2010 – Filled May 2010
We have created an exciting new opportunity at WFP, we require a administration assistant to work within the sales team.

The duties will include;
- Preparing quotations for customers under the direction of the sales manager
- Preparation of marketing communications
- Speaking to our customers on a daily basis, progressing quotations and measuring customer feedback
- General administration within the business
As part of a small team you will have the opportunity to grow your skills with the business.
You will be expected to be flexible, working with colleagues to deliver the companies promises even if this is outside their specific job role.
The successful candidate will have experienced working within a small team, they will see the value in customer communications and will want to learn the alarm industry.
- Skills required: The position is full time, permanent and office based. Due to our semi-rural location the candidate would require their own means of transport.
