The Meadows is located in the heart of Chelmsford and is considered by many to be the premier shopping centre within the local area. WFP Fire & Security have been maintaining the Meadows Shopping Centre for many years now, and have a good working relationship with the personnel.

If you think this all sounds very cosy, then take a moment to think about the complexities that such a centre involve, such as the smoke ventilation systems, the sprinklers and fire extinguishers to mention but a few. Our maintenance contract also covers the hose reels and dry risers, and the fire alarms, both inside the building, and extending to cover the car park and the busy offices.

At the time WFP were awarded the contract, Operations Manager Derek King said: "We are a very busy centre and needed to simplify the process of managing our fire systems.
