WFP were employed by the Harwich Dock Company to design and install a new fire alarm system in the 19th Century building that houses the company.
Having just refurbished the buiding throughout, and anxious not to disrupt the fabric and décor, the company needed a system which combined the twin objectives of preserving the interior decoration and offering fire protection.
They chose a system using radio technology as an answer to their needs. The whole system was installed throughout the building within two days, with minimal disruption to day to day work.
