Slug threatens fire safety in Long Ditton!

It was on Friday 4th July that David Munday our intrepid engineer found that he was looking at a complete system failure in a newly refurbished Long Ditton HMO*

David was in the office and took the call from the customer and after a short discussion realised that the system required urgent attendance, he met the customer and was accompanied to the site to investigate the system failure.

Once on site David found that the system was non-responsive and started to investigate the systems for possible causes, he had his suspicions for possible causes of the system failure although he certainly did not expect to find……………….

Suicidal Slug

A suicidal slug on the PCB, well it smelled a bit like escargot, although not to David’s taste.

It would appear that the slug had climbed up the conduit and into the control panel, which became its final resting place.

Our technical services manager said that in all his time in the industry (quite a while) he had never seen this before!
